Green Beans with Mushrooms

Green Beans with Mushrooms
Ingredients:
1 lb Fresh Green Beans
1 Pint Mushrooms (Sliced)
1 TBS Bacon Drippings (embracing my inner southern girl)
Salt & Pepper to tasteDirections:
Heat the bacon drippings over medium-high heat in a skillet. I used my good ol' cast iron for the job! Rinse the green beans and then snap/trim the ends off of them. Add sliced mushrooms and green beans to skillet with the bacon drippings. Season well with salt & Pepper.
Saute over Medium-Medium High heat for about 15 minutes (stirring frequently). Cover with a lid, reduce heat to Medium-Low and allow to simmer for another 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Voila! The most deliciously simple green beans I have made to date!

Love the green beans, dislike the mushrooms. Darnit! Looks delish though, even at breakfast time! I'm weird, I know.
