Spicy Turkey Chili

This is my quick & easy turkey chili! To be honest with you, I never make the same pot of chili twice hah. I  usually change up the seasoning packets I use, so feel free to switch it up to suit your tastes. Not everyone likes the same spice level or seasonings. Make it your own 🙂 The hubs and I were feeling some spicy chili this night SPICYchili this night!

Spicy Turkey Chili

1 TBS Olive Oil
1/2 Onion - diced
1 package Jenny-O Ground Turkey Breast (1.25 lbs)
1 LG Can Whole tomatoes (Drained & Coarsely Chopped)
2 Cans of Spicy Chili Beans (use regular if you don't like spice)
2 Packages of Chili Seasoning
Note: I like to use 2 different types of seasoning. This go-around I used 1 packet of Spicy and 1 packet of Tex-Mex and it had an excellent 'kick'! You know the hubs & I love our spice!
16-24 oz Tomato Juice
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Optional- 1 Can of Light Red Kidney Beans

Heat up TBS of olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and saute for 5-8 minutes (until translucent and beginning to brown). Next, add the ground turkey and season w/ Salt & Pepper.

Cook until turkey is completely cooked through. Add tomatoes, beans, tomato juice and 2 packets of Chili Seasoning. Stir and allow to come to a boil. You can serve it immediately or you can allow it to simmer on low for as long as you want!

Some ideas for serving: On a Potato, over some Pasta, or on it's own! We like to eat ours with some combination of: cheese, diced onion, sour cream, and/or Fritos.
