Foodbuzz Fest: Street Food Fare

The first night was a little overwhelming for me since i knew NO ONE. I was super nervous, but the nerves went away quickly (may have had something to do with the wine! hah). We were at the Fort Mason Center in Herbst Pavillion. Like an idiot I didn’t take any pics of the outside area, but you can see a great re-cap of the night over at: Tina of Carrots N’ Cake.
We entered the warehouse and were all given a sheet walking in that told us where to sit. I ended up at a table with these fabulous people:
We all had to pass our gift to the person to our left… & i lucked out and got Brittany’s sweet gift: some yummy looking Fig Agave Balsamic and her homemade Pumpkin SPice Nutty Granola (thanks Brittany!)
Katie– she reminds me SO much of you…
After our intros it was time to EAT!
LOVED the Tacolicious tacos… I love me some Mexican food.
Then there was a Gumbo and Paella from Tongje…
There were some yummy pork sliders with a Jalapeno Ranch-ish sauce on it… i love me some food with a kick! πŸ™‚
Oh and Pizza Politana was one of my favs- they had the crispiest thin crust ever… SO SO good.
I’m lame and totally forgot to take a pic of the pizza BEFORE it was almost gone- oops… guess everyone like it!
Oh and the Straus ice-cream was KILLER. Although, I don’t think I’ve ever met an ice-cream that i haven’t loved… hah
Oh ya, and a cool side note: The Food Network was there filiming for Cupcake Wars! (Super Cool!) The Pumpkin Cupcake were my fav! πŸ™‚
Although, I have to say a highlight of my night was at the very end I got to meetΒ Sabrina from Rhodeygirl Tests. I have loved reading her blog for the past few months and it was cool to meet her in person- she is as sweet as ever! Probably the most down-to-earth and warm girls I met that night! πŸ™‚
Alrighty… that about sums up last night in a nut shell- i have SO much more from today but i’ll have to get to that later!! I have to gussy myself up for the Gala tonight down at the Ferry Market Building… SUPER excited for a fabulous Foodie Meal!!
Oh and I survived my demo!!! YAY (more on that later!)

I was just watching the cooking channel, and they premiered the show “Cupcake Confidential” and it was all about Mini Missions, the cupcake shop who created that specific display. It showed them at the foodbuzz festival, it made me think of this pic and your blog so I thought Id share! πŸ™‚
