Bake-fest 2010

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE EVERYONE!!!!

My sister in-law, Heather, and I decided to get together last weekend for a “baking” extravaganza.  I use the term ‘baking’ quite loosly, considering we didn’t actually bake anything hah! My mom joined us for the last few treats!

On our “to-do” list:

Macadamia Nut Butter Caramels – an adaptation from David Lebovitz’s Butter Caramel Recipe

Chocolate Almond Buttercrunch Toffee – also from David Lebovitz (This was by far the FAVORITE of what we made!)

Chocolate Caramel Covered Pretzels – made it up as we went

Butter Mints – From The Kitchn

Chocolate Macadamia Nut Clusters – also made it up as we went
