Christmas Gift Guide
Since Christmas is right around the corner and everyone is doing their last minute shopping, I thought I’d offer up some clever gift ideas to help ya’ll out! There’s always that one person (or multiple people) on your list that leave you stumped for ideas. I broke my ideas down into categories… so hope this helps some of you find a gift for that special someone! Merry Christmas!!
For the Baker or the Cook:
Adorable Measuring Spoons (one can NEVER have too many measuring spoons!)
Super Cute Apron (who wouldn’t like to cook in this apron?!)
For the Entertainer:
Vintage Key Bottle Opener
Vintage Cocktails recipe book (Some old classics!)
Mason Jar Mugs: Perfect for serving up lemonade in the summer, or cider in the winter!
For the Girly Girl:
Order a pair of these fabulous earrings from my dear friend Brittany’s Etsy shop! This girl is crazy talented and her hand-crafted earrings are absolutely gorgeous! What girl wouldn’t love a pair of these?!
Penguin Classics (You can find them cheaper on Amazon.com): These books are beautiful to look at. I’m not a reader, but would still adore them on my bookshelf, as would girly girl! The cloth vintage-looking covers are absolutely stunning.
Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow: Every Neutral Eyeshadow color a girl could dream of all in one organized case! Urban Decay make fantastic eyeshadow!
For the Fitness Fanatic:
Zumba DVD’s: Groove to latin beats AND get a work out! My sister in-law Heather and I love going to our local Zumba class! This is a fun gift for a fitness fanatic that needs some videos to take on the road with them, or to use at home!
LuLu Lemon Groove Pant: I heard about these from Gina (Fitnessista) while I was out in San Francisco. She worked at the Orlando store… and raved about the LuLuLemon line (as did many others who had their clothing)!
LuLu Lemon Define Jacket: Love the thumbhole on these!
Vibram Five Fingers: These are apparently all the rage with Runners these days (I wouldn’t know as I LOATHE running) hah! To each their own.
For the Parents to Be:
Penguin Classics for Kids: the kid version of the books I mentioned before! LOVE LOVE LOVE these. How gorgeous would these look in a baby nursery?! Seriously.
Baby Book: Obviously I have a slight obsession with all things Anthropology hah! I just love the vintage/unique look they have going on with the Housware items and books. This book is no exception. It’s a baby book (the kind where you write in it and add pictures etc…). However, it’s not the typical one you might find. This one has muted colors and beautiful drawings in it. It’s a trendy and chic baby book. I love it. Perfect gift for a mom to be to track her pregnancy and then Child’s growth!
For the Men in your Life:
At Home Beer Brewing Kit: This is what the hubs is getting this year (no surprise… he knows already!). He is SO excited about it, it’s hilarious! He wore me down and I let him open it up early and start his 1st brew! It takes 6 weeks to brew so I wanted him to be able to enjoy the fruits of his labor in January for his 30th birthday… I’m telling you - I have NEVER seen the man so giddy and excited over a gift!
Beer Extract Recipe Kits: Gotta have some beer recipe kits to go along with the brewing kit! Mike’s starting out with the Bavarian Hefeweizen (with hints of Banana and Clove)… yumm.
Some good ol’ what I like to call “MAN Glasses”: like these babies at Crate and Barrel! Love the Old-Fashioned style with the bubble in the thick-bottomed glass! Classic. I gave Mike the Double Old-Fashioned glasses for Christmas last year – he LOVES them, and won’t drink his mixed cocktails out of anything else now. hah
Bobby Flay Cookbook: Perfect for the griller in your life. Bobby is the grill MASTER, so who better to get tips and recipes from than him!!
