Pico de Gallo

There is nothing quite like homemade Pico de Gallo. No jarred / pre-made salsa holds a candle to it! It’s really not difficult to make- just a little chopping! Totally worth it!! I made this to go on my Grilled Chicken Fajita’s last night (Recipe coming soon)! Good luck keeping your tortilla chips out of this! :)

Pico de Gallo

7 firm Roma Tomatos- Diced
1/2 Medium Yellow Onion- Finely Diced
1-2 Jalapenos (remove the seeds if you want to tame the spice)- Finely Diced
A large fist-full of cilantro- Chopped
Juice of 2 limes
1 tsp Salt
Black Pepper to taste

Mix together and allow to sit (the longer it sits, the better the flavors meld together). Serve with Tortilla Chips, on Tacos, or Fajitas.

Ever since I learned how to make pico de gallo (our recipes are nearly identical), I have never gone back to jarred salsa. Yours looks absolutely scrumptious, and even though it’s winter, it’s got me craving a big bowl with a side of chips! Thanks for sharing.

This was perfection! So good…I am thinking about making a batch per week…my hubby and I could eat it everyday.
