Thank You

I don’t have the words to thank you all for your sweet and encouraging words over the past few days. Mike and I are so overwhelmed by the love and support that we have received. I wished so many times that I could reach through the computer screen and hug each and every one of you. Thank you. We are SO blessed.

I knew that our friends and family would be supportive, however I have been absolutely dumbfounded by the compassion we have received from complete strangers. The sincerity of the heartfelt messages has been incredibly touching. I am learning (very quickly) that going through something like this gives you this unexplainable instant bond with others who have experienced it in the past. I pray that I can be used in some small way to help women in the future that may go through this. God has a plan for each and every one of us.

To my foodie readers, thank you for bearing with me these past few days as it hasn’t exactly been the normal lighthearted ‘yummy recipe & photo land’ that it normally is around here. I promise to get cooking this weekend and have some tasty treats for you all next week. And FYI- later today you can expect a cocktail from the hubs… i’ve just gotta go photograph it on my lunch break 😉

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for all your encouragement and prayers (they were definitely needed & felt). I can’t adequately put into words how much it’s meant to us.

I’ve been meaning to comment since last week. My heart was so sad for you and your hubby! Just know you have a bunch of readers who want nothing but the best for you both. Thanks for sharing this bit of your life with us and opening up your heart. The Lord with most certainly use this to make you a stronger couple!

I just discovered your blog from your soup recipe on foodgawker. I wanted to tell you that you really are not alone. I had the exact same thing happen to me – the friends getting pregnant (all much younger than me though), the same reason for the loss and the emotional roller coaster. It was really tough. It’s good that you have the support of friends and family (and readers!). Best to you and your husband.
