Spiced Pumpkin Martini

It’s Cocktail Friday and the hubs is back… show him some love on his latest sipper, the Spiced Pumpkin Martini:

Hey there, foodies and hey there, glorious Friday. As a kid, nothing was cooler than trick or treating for Halloween. I loved to put on a sweet superhero costume, fuel up on sugary goodies and run like a mad man from house to house to fill up my candy bucket. Now I’m old and will be watching my niece trick or treat for the first time. While I won’t be getting dressed up or collecting candy, I will be capping the evening with a tasty, pumpkin inspired adult treat.

Disclaimer:  This drink is a dessert in a cup just like the Chocolate Margarita or the Orange Creamsicle Martini. Just think of a perfect marriage between a delicious slice of pumpkin pie and a White Russian. While it is a touch girly, it is rich, silky and so, so smooth. It will satisfy your sweet tooth but will spare you from the sugar high the kids will be experiencing.

Happy Halloween, folks and CHEERS!

1 ounce Amaretto Liqueur
1 ounce Half n Half
2 tablespoons Pumpkin Butter
1 dash Pumpkin Pie Spice

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously (10 – 15 seconds). Pour into chilled martini glass and garnish with an additional dash of pumpkin pie spice.

Oh my, what a luscious drink that is. I see myself sitting by the fire listening to some Sinatra and sipping one of these tonight ;)
