Cheesy Hot Crab Dip

Looking for an appetizer to bring the that Holiday party? Look no further!

Does it get better that cheesy hot crab dip?! I think not.

We are talking 3 kinds of cheese here, people. This stuff is ooey, gooey, and amazing.

Crisp up your own crostinis under the broiler by slicing crusty baguettes thinly, spraying them with non-stick spray, and adding a sprinkle of salt and parmesan cheese. Toast those babies up until golden and crisp. Just keep an eye on them or they’ll burn.

Trust me.

Want to know how I know?

Well, I burned my first batch and had to send the hubs back to Publix.

Then I tried again and burned another batch (yep, some days are just like that). So back to Publix the hubs went (bless his heart). Finally, on the 3rd try, I got it right!

Thank goodness we live next door to Publix. The bakery lady couldn’t get over how quick he was back each time haha.

Anyhow, you need to make this… SOON! It’s delicious!

WOW!! I’m definitely going to make this for our Christmas party! I’ve never cooked with crab meat before. Can you get it canned or is it fresh (ie, expensive)??

    • Kristina replied: — December 14th, 2011 @ 12:30 pm

it’s fresh (but cooked), most grocery stores carry it, but the best deal is at Costco if you have one nearby!
