Prayers for Grammie

This is my Grammie:

She’s one of the sweetest, cutest, goofiest, spunkiest ladies you’ll ever meet and I love her to pieces. My brother and I are the 2 oldest grandkids on that side of the family, with a pretty big gap before the next grandkids were born. So I’ve had the pleasure of having her as a grandma for many years, and then transistioning into dear friends in my adult life.

I’ve had many heart-to-hearts with her, talking about marriage, pregnancy trials, everything. She’s been through it all – more than one person should ever have to go through- yet she has such a positive attitude and spirit and always tells me, “Kristina – God is good. All. the. time.” Amazing woman.

Anyhow, I tell you all of this because, I’m asking for your prayers… Grams is in the hospital with congestive heart failure. Her heart is running on 25%, and she has fluid in her lungs. She is doing pretty well (and is stable). The doctors said the meds will help her heart not have to work as hard – but it won’t fix it.  Her heart will now always be weak (which is a very scary thing).  God’s in control, but I ask that you pray for strength for her and wisdom for the doctors.

This woman is very dear to me.

Anyhow, I have lots of yummy recipes pending that I just need to add a few touches to, so just bear with me & I’ll have some new stuff for ya! Thank you dear readers! xoxo

Aww, Tina… Virtual hugs and prayers go to you and your Grammie!
God can and does work healing miracles every day, and your Grammie is 100% right when she says that God is good ALL the time.
Don’t loose faith and don’t give up hope or prayers. Just hold her hand, smile often, and remind her of how much she is loved.

Praying for her, that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. By his stripes she is healed. It is written that the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise your grandma up. I am believing with you!
