Now when I was deciding on how I wanted to use the Pretzel Crisps® in a recipe for this post I was SO torn. Do I crush them up and use them as a coating for chicken (ya’ll KNOW i love to crust the heck out of things)? Or how about as a vessel for dip or other bite sized goodies? OOoo I could also use them as a topping for mac n’ cheese!! All excellent ideas… but I was still torn!
Then it hit me. My Aunt Lynn makes this super easy 5-ingredient toffee using graham crackers. I thought the pretzels would make a phenomenal substitute to give it a little salty crunchy goodness!
This stuff is like crack. Sweet, Salty, Crunchy, and Chewy… the best of all worlds! I literally had to smack hubs’ hand out of the way so I could snap my photos before he dug in and muttered “oh my goshhhh” “this is ridiculous” etc… haha
Alright you guys, go grab yourself a bag of Pretzel Crisps® (found in the Deli section of your grocery store) and make this toffee ASAP!!!! If your not into the whole sweet thing (WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!??! hah), try some of these savory ideas:

5-Ingredient Pretzel Crisps® Toffee Bark
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15-20 minutes
1 bag Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps® (Original flavor)
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounce bag of chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Line a jelly roll pan (or lipped baking sheet) with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place Pretzel Crisps® in the bottom of the prepared pan in an even layer with edges overlapping.
In a medium non-stick skillet (& stirring constantly), melt the butter and brown sugar over medium high heat until melted and bubbling, about 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until well combined. Pour mixture evenly over Pretzel Crisps®. Spread gently with a spatula. Bake for 5 minutes at 400ºF.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow to sit for 5 minutes to allow chocolate chips to melt. Using a spatula, evenly spread across toffee. Allow to cool completely (may place in refrigerator to speed up the process). Once cooled, gently break bark apart into pieces and serve.
