Outback Garlic Croutons

Source: Recipe Zaar

2 loaves of bread (I used French Bread)
1 LB Butter (4 Sticks)
2 1/2 TBS Cajun Seasoning
1/2 cup fresh grated garlic

Cut bread into bit sized pieces/cubes. Heat butter until consistency of Mayonnaise- Do NOT melt--- croutons will not turn out! (I let mine sit out on the counter for an hour or two and then microwaved it in 5 sec increments until the consistency of mayo)

Add Garlic and Seasoning to butter, mix, and set aside.

Put Bread on a cookie sheet and bake at 250 until the bread dries out and turn crunchy (took about 45 min - 1 hour for me... I kept rotating the bread on the pan to ensure and even toast). Once finished, allow croutons to cool completely.

Place butter mixture into a large bowl. Add the croutons to the bowl and gently toss to ensure they all get evenly coated with butter mixture. Place croutons back on baking sheet and bake at 350 allowing them to brown up to a golden brown (keep an eye on them). Should take about 8-10 minutes. Gently Shake pan as they are cooking to allow even browning. Croutons will look wet until to pull them out of the oven and let them cool for at least 20 minutes or so.
