Cranberry Baked Brie

Baked Brie is one of the easiest most delicious appetizers EVER.  Anytime I make it, everyone FLIPS over it.  I generally make it with some type of jam (Strawberry, Raspberry, Peach etc…).  However, this year I thought

it would be festive to try it with some sweetened homemade cranberry sauce!

Cranberry Baked Brie

Brie Cheese Wheel
Cranberry Sauce (about 1/3 - 1/2 cup)
1 Package of Croissants
Apples - Sliced
Butter Crackers

Preheat oven to 350 and spray a pie plate with non-stick spray. Carefully cut the top of the brie off (the white rind is totally edible... i just like to cut the top off to get rid of a little of it!).

Separate the croissants in half (into 2 large squares) and press the seams together on both halves. Place one half into the bottom the the pie plate and place the Brie on top (cut side up). Next, add a few scoops of the Cranberry Sauce - enough to cover the top of the brie. Add the second half of the croissant and fold the bottom croissant edges up onto the top half - pinch all the seems together. You can add a cut-out shape on top of the brie to go with the "theme" of your party. I cut out a Christmas tree using an extra sheet of croissant and placed it carefully on top!

Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes (keep an eye on it... you want the croissant to cook all the way, but not burn).

Serve with sliced apples of choice and butter crackers. Delish!
