Cake Fail and Winner Announced!!

I wanted to have a beautiful Blueberry Bundt Cake waiting for ya’ll this Monday morning, but then this happened…

So I tried another recipe.

I even used my mom’s special gold touch “nothing sticks to these” pans… yah okay {insert sarcasm}.

This was the result:


Moral of the story: If at first you don’t succeed, try try again. After that? Have a margarita and call it a day! haha

    I’ve hated bundt pans for that very reason… Cooking spray doesn’t work for me. What I’ve found to work is buttering every nook and cranny then flouring (tapping excess…usually do it over the sink so I don’t have to do anything but wash it down the sink to clean up!). This is why I don’t like to buy the fun pans anymore: I hate when half the cake stays in the pan! Bet it’s still yummy!

    Even though it failed, it still looks yummy! Blueberries are my fav, will you share the recipe please?

    Cheesecakes will often crack when they are cooling…Use a larger pan with a little water in it and place your cheesecake in the water bath to bake and this will keep your cheesecake from cracking!`
